Yavoriv region in Poland!

The Klymentiy Sheptytsky Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Lviv presented part of its unique collection at the international exhibition "Yavoriv. Folk Colors of Roztochchya", which is taking place in Poland!



The exhibition features about 100 exhibits from the museum's collection, including traditional clothing and embroidered costumes from the Yavoriv region, as well as works by Oksana Kohut and Ostap Soyka.


After the opening of the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to attend a master class on bird painting, conducted by Oksana Kohut.


The joint exhibition project was implemented in partnership with the Muzeum Kresów w Lubaczowie (the exhibition features dowry chests from their collection).


The project was also joined by: the Severyn Udziela Ethnographic Museum (Krakow) and the National Museum of the Przemysl Region (Przemysl).

The website of the Museum of Traditional Yavoriv Toys was created as part of the project “Digital Technologies for the Preservation of Yavoriv Toys – an Element of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine”, implemented by the NGO “Yavoriv Toy” supported by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation “Cultural Heritage” competition program.
